Photos of Terribles Lakeside RV resort

Even though it's mid February and the grass is brown and the trees are pretty much bare, this is one of the most friendly and beautiful RV resorts found in the middle of the desert...took a few pics this morning as we walked around the lake.

Death Valley

Decided to take our chances with these high winds today and head out to Death Valley and I can say without uncertainty that the wind was definitely winning. Pictures do not do it justice and the wind didn't help but I tried getting some pictures along our way

Arrived safety in Pahrump Nv

Got here just fine...truck and new fiver did wonderful. Shortly after arriving the RV parks main line sprung a major leak which left us with no access to water. Management informed everyone that they were turning on the water and to fill our holding tank... OK fine, shit happens. Filled it and thought we were good, however, the dealership emptied our fresh water holding tank at our request before picking it up and failed to close the drain so yes we lost ALL our water. Geez, what a thing to wake up to.

So the journey begins...

Well having a blog is certainly something new to me and exciting too as my husband and I embark on our travels in our new Fifth Wheel.  The excitement begins on Sunday Feb 12th as we take off on our maiden voyage to Lakeside RV resort in Pahrump, NV...see you there with pictures to follow.
